Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has accepted the resignation of Military Commissar Kazbek Makhmatkhanov, Yuga.ru reports.
Kadyrov met heads of sections of the military commissariat and heard a report from Daniil Martynov, his assistant for cooperation with law enforcers, who told about violations caused by Makhmatkhanov. The report says that the commissar made no efforts to recruit young people for military service. Another flaw pointed out by Martynov is Makhmatkhanov’s idea to open a military patriotic center to train young people. The expense sheet of the center exceeded the necessary funds for its opening and maintenance.
Makhmatkhanov has been the Chechen Military Commissar since March 7, 2013. He has recently filed a resignation note.
