US to pass sanctions for expansion of cooperation with Iran

US Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman said that sanctions will be passed against countries evading anti-Iranian sanctions, regardless of whether such a country is a partner or an enemy, Interfax reports.

She clarified that Tehran was not open for fully-fledged business, because the sanctions were softened for Iran temporarily.

US Secretary of State John Kerry met Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif at the Munich Security Conference on Sunday. He said that Washington will keep anti-Iranian sanctions in force.
