Russian Ambassador to Libya Ivan Molotkov returned to Tripoli on February 1, according to Senior Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Libya Leonid Frolov, RIA Novosti reports.
The first group of Russian diplomats returned to Libya in December 2013.
The Russian Embassy in Libya was evacuated in October 2013, after an armed attack. Libyan authorities condemned the attack on the embassy and emphasized the exceptional value relations with Russia had for the country.
