Field Marshal Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Egyptian Defense Minister, has agreed to stand for president, ITAR-TASS reports.
Egyptian military authorities suggested the field marshal for president last week. The date of elections has not been set. However, Egypt will hold presidential polls by April 19.
