Investigators studying the case of the two FSB officers shot dead in the Chegem region of Kabardino-Balkaria have initiated a criminal case, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press-service of the Investigation Committee of the Russian Prosecution.
The Krasnodar-based officers were a couple on vacation. Four suspects are being searched for. According to the investigation, the suspects went to the Aday-Su café in Nizhniy Chegem with guns, where they attacked the victims and their daughter.
The FSB members were forced out of the café and taken to wasteland where they were killed.
