Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council Artur Bagdasaryan has asked his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev to adjust migration laws for Armenian migrants working in Russia, Armtoday.info reports.
Russia adopted a new visa regime on January 1. Foreigners working in Russia may stay for 90 days. The new law affects about 2 million Armenians in Russia.
Armenia and Russia are strategic allies within the framework of the CSTO. Armenia will soon join the Customs Union.
