Russian Ambassador to Iran Levan Jagaryan said that Russia and Iran were discussing ways to expand nuclear cooperation, RIA Novosti reports.
He reminded that Iran started guaranteed exploitation of the first block of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in September 2013. The diplomat emphasized that Russia was committed to nuclear non-proliferation norms.
Nikolai Spassky, Deputy Head of Rosatom for International Cooperation, said that construction of new energy blocks was under discussions.
