US President Barack Obama told his French counterpart Francois Hollande that the United States had the right to attack Syria at any time for the sake of national security, RIA Novosti reports.
Obama noted that, if efforts to destroy Syrian chemical weapons fail, there will be repercussions. He added that the conflict should be settled politically. In his words, sufferings of people were a threat to the whole region.
