Zurab Abashidze, Special Envoy of the Georgian Prime Minister for Relations with Russia, and Grigory Karasin, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, will discuss the idea of organizing a meeting of Russian and Georgian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Georgy Margvelashvili, said Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze, RIA Novosti reports.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili expressed readiness to meet Putin.
Abashidze and Karasin will meet in Prague in late February. Panjikidze reminded that there were two formats for Russian-Georgian talks: the Geneva talks and contacts of Karasin and Abashidze.
