Brahimi to report on Geneva-2 progress at UN

Lakhdar Brahimi, Special Envoy of the UN and the Arab League for Syria, said yesterday that he will report about progress at the Geneva-2 Conference to the UNSC and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in the next couple of weeks, RIA Novosti reports.He emphasized that no significant progress had been achieved at the inter-Syrian talks.The second round of Geneva-2 talks started on February 10. The first round lasted a week and ended in Switzerland in late January. The sides found no common grounds on any of the topics they discussed.
