Russian Supreme Court demands further work on anti-terrorism laws

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Supreme Court Anatoly Tolkachenko said in his review of the anti-terrorism amendments to the Criminal Code that the initiative needs further work, KM.ru reports.According to the current document, people giving information and resources to terrorists are categorized as organizers of terrorist attacks. The Supreme Court does not accept the scrapping of the limitation period for terrorist attacks.Moreover, the amendments give a wrong interpretation to justification of terrorism and its support.The first reading of the amendments is expected in February.
