Azerbaijan and Georgia to delimit 180km of border

Azerbaijan and Georgia will delimit 180km of their border, said Garib Mamedov, Head of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Land and Cartography, Georgia Online reports.

He noted that Azerbaijani specialists had visited Georgia twice and chose the territories the borderline will run through.

Georgia borders with seven Azerbaijani districts. Their border line is 480km long. The sides have delimited 300km of their border.

Delimitation and demarcation of the border affects the David Gareja Monastery Complex, a famous site in the South Caucasus, located 60km south-east of Tbilisi.
