Russia presented its resolution for Syria at the UN Security Council in New York last evening, said spokesman of the Russian envoy to the UN Alexey Zaytsev, RIA Novosti reports.
The Russian resolution will be considered together with the resolution composed by Australia, Luxembourg and Jordan. The latter is a document demanding sanctions against Syria unless violence in the country is stopped within 15 days. Russian Representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin believes that the resolution may ruin all peace efforts in Geneva.
