Georgian minister wants Russian and Georgian presidents to meet sooner

Georgian State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality Paata Zakareishvili said that it was important for Georgia to continue discussions of security and stability in Trans-Caucasus within the framework of the Geneva talks, ITAR-TASS reports.

He noted that renaming of his ministry in 2014 reflected efforts of the government to settle conflicts with Abkhazia and South Ossetia more clearly.

Zakareishvili said that the recent initiative for a meeting of Russian and Georgian presidents should not be dragged.
