Shota Murgulia, a deputy of Georgian Minister for Regional Development David Narmania, was dismissed as the Kutaisi Acting Mayor by Chairman of the Kutaisi City Council Tamaz Margvelashvili yesterday, Georgia Online reports.
Niko Kachkachishvili became the Kutaisi Acting Mayor. He was a deputy of Murgulia.
Minister Narmania said that the dismissal was a problem of a certain group with unjustified claims for power.
Murgulia has been the third Acting Mayor of the city to be dismissed.
