Swedish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikael Eriksson said today that Sweden will open an embassy in Azerbaijan soon, Trend reports.
Gunnar Oom, Swedish Secretary and Aid for Trade, met Khalaf Khalafov, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, in 2013 and announced plans to open the embassy.
The residence of the Swedish ambassador to Azerbaijan is currently situated in Stockholm.
