Sides of Syrian conflict take a break at Geneva-2

The Syrian government and opposition will not have talks this morning. The talks will continue after consultations of Russian, US and UN diplomats in Geneva, RIA Novosti reports.

Lakhdar Brahimi, Special Envoy of the UN and the LAS for Syria, Gennady Gatilov, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, and Wendy Sherman, US Under Secretary of State, will have talks within the second round of the Geneva-2 Conference today. They will arrive to the Palace of Nations at 3.00PM.

The opposition plans to have a separate coordinating meeting. Ahmad Jarba, Head of the Syrian National Coalition, has not arrived in Geneva yet.
