Turkmenistan will hold parliamentary by-elections in several districts on April 20, according to Speaker of Parliament Akja Nuberdiyeva, Trend reports.
Some members of the parliament have resigned and need replacing.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out the need to continue democratization of socio-political processes and socio-economic reforms.
Turkmenistan held parliamentary elections on December 15, 2013.
