Hungary encourages Georgia to join NATO

Hungarian State Minister for International Relations Zsolt Nemeth told Georgian Speaker of Parliament David Usupashvili that Hungary backed Georgia in its NATO membership bid, Trend reports.Nemeth noted that Georgia had gone through many hardships and they made its progress achieved at the Vilnius summit more evident. The Hungarian side offered to share experience in signing the EU association agreement.Usupashvili and Nemeth discussed the upcoming NATO summit in the UK, relations with Russia and the latest events in Ukraine.Usupashvili expressed hope that Georgia and Hungary will continue cooperation. The Georgian delegation took part in a session of the Hungarian parliament as honorary guests.
