Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych may present the new candidate for prime minister this week, said Speaker of Parliament Vladimir Rybak, Interfax reports.
The parliament will have five days since the introduction to consider the candidate.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Nicolai Azarov resigned on January 28.
