He is a close friend of Alexander Fadeyev, ex-Head of COSGBI dismissed for disagreements with Roscosmos head in December 2013.Mikhail Vardanyan, head of the Space Systems for Monitoring, Information Control and Electromechanical Complexes of Iosifyan, is considered the most likely successor of Anisimov.
