Turkey plans to launch the production of national passenger planes in 2023, said Minister for Finances Mehmet Simsek, Sabah reports.
Earlier reports said that Turkey was planning to make mid-range passenger planes. The Cabinet approved the project for creation of planes with a capacity of 120 passengers in 2012. Turkey is currently using Boeing and Airbus jets.
