Devaluation of Kazakh tenge won't threaten banking system

The devaluation of the tenge will not threaten Kazakhstan's banking system, the head of the country's National Bank, Kayrat Kelimbetov, is quoted as saying by Azerbaijani news agency Trend. 

"The National Bank informs that the country's banks have enough national and foreign currency. If necessary, the National Bank will support those banks, who will face shortage of liquidity," the official said.
