Turkmenistan is today marking State Flag Day. The flag design was adopted in 1995. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the population on State Flag Day, Trend reports.
He noted the commitment of Turkmenistan to friendly ties with all nations and countries for stability and reiterated that the country was cooperating with large international organizations, most importantly, with the UN. The country is committed to the principles of peace, good-neighbourhood, humanism, mutually beneficial cooperation and respect for international law.
