Iran and six mediators of the nuclear program have reached an understanding on the action plan needed to sign the final agreement to resolve the problem of Tehran's disputed nuclear program, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi, RIA Novosti reports.
The talks started in Vienna on Tuesday and continued on Wednesday. There were plenary sessions and bilateral meetings. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov noted the intensity of the process. EU Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton and Arakchi met on Wednesday night and reached an agreement.
The Iranian deputy minister noted the positive progress but he sees no optimism in the future talks. He said that the next round of talks will start in the second half of March.
The sides will come to agreements on the topics and schedule of further talks today. The final plenary session of delegations will be held today. Ashton and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif will present results of negotiations and talk with the press.
