Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said that Canada imposed visa sanctions on Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych and high-ranking governmental officials. Their financial accounts were frozen, Interfax reports.
Harper expressed outrage of Canada over the violence in Ukraine.
The EU Council of Foreign Ministers voted for sanctions against Ukraine yesterday.
