Ukraine returns to 2004 Constitution

Ukrainian lawmakers voted today in favour of restoring the 2004 Constitution, according to which Ukraine is a semi-parliamentary republic. The decision was made in order to resolve the ongoing political crisis.

Earlier today President Viktor Yanukovych agreed to snap presidential and parliamentary elections.
