The Georgian Foreign Ministry issued a statement today in response to recent events in Ukraine which reads that the Georgian side welcomes steps undertaken to normalize the situation in Ukraine.
"The Georgian Foreign Ministry hopes that following the principle of territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the rule of law, the strong will and efforts of the Ukrainian people together with the support of the international community will help to overcome the political crisis," Trend quotes the statement.
