Humanitarian aid collected upon the initiative of Russian legislators has arrived in the Syrian capital of Damascus. Residents of the Moscow Region and Voronezh collected warm clothing and dry milk for Libya and Syria, ITAR-TASS reports.
Sergey Gavrilov, coordinator of the inter-fraction group for protection of Christian values at the lower house of the Russian parliament, said that children’s food was delivered in Syria in January.
A Russian parliamentary delegation visited Syria in January. Officials of Russian religious and public organizations were part of it.
