Artur Bagdasaryan, Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council, said on February 26 that he had received an answer to his letter sent to Secretary of the Russian National Security Council Nikolai Patrushev regarding 170,000 Armenian migrants who are blacklisted at the Russian Federal Migration Service, News.am reports.
Bagdasaryan said that the problem was not only the deportation of 170,000 people, but also the deportation of family heads from the country while keeping the family there. The Armenian official said that the sides agreed to form an inter-department group and its first session will be held in Moscow tomorrow.
Bagdasaryan expressed optimism. He reiterated that millions of Armenians currently live in Russia.
