Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif calls for enhanced cooperation between the Islamic Republic and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Iran's state-run media outlet Press TV reports.
The Iranian minister stressed the necessity of expanding cooperation with the body in a Tuesday meeting with the organization's Secretary General Dmitry Mezentsev in Tehran, saying the Islamic Republic and members of the organization “share common interests”.
