The rating of Russian President Vladimir Putin reached 67.7%, according to the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center (WCIOM), Championat.com reports.
The center questioned 1600 people in 130 residential areas in 42 regions of Russia. The president’s rating reached its highest point, according to data on February 22-23. Putin’s popularity was also affected by the events in Ukraine.
Putin’s rating reached 68.8% in May 2012 during the inauguration and after the end of the economic crisis in autumn 2010.
His rating has never dropped below 60% in the last years.
