Abkhazian party "Amtsakhara" to use the experience of "United Russia"

Today a delegation of the Abkhazian party Amtsakhara held a working meeting with representatives of the United Russia party. Andrey Klimov, a member of the Presidium of the General Council of United Russia, and Garry Samanba, co-president of Amtsakhra, talked to VK about the importance of the meeting.

United Russia is very glad to have a political ally in Abkhazia.  "Of course, to develop the relationship, we need to clarify and formulate certain moments, that is why on the agreement of Amtsakhara we are going to send a small working group to Abkhazia. After talking to our colleagues in Abkhazia, we will start preparing an agreement between the two parties," Klimov said.

"It is clear that we should cooperate on the level of youth organizations. We also can and should help our colleagues in the questions of party-building and education and share the experience of the legislative activity," he added.

Garry Samanba noted that United Russia is an important political power for Abkhazia, as 90% of its residents have Russian citizenship. Amtsakhara used to be a war-veteran organization and only recently was turned into a political party.

"We need to explain to the people that Russian is our good neighbor", he stressed.
