Arseny Yatsenyuk says he will not run for president of Ukraine.
"I am officially declaring that I am not going to run for president of Ukraine. And I am ceding the mandate of a people's deputy," Yatsenyuk said at a plenary session on Thursday.
Recall, the Ukrainian parliament has elected former opposition leader Arseny Yatsenyuk as the country's prime minister. Yatsenyuk, a close ally of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, was backed by 371 of 417 participating MPs.
