Speaker of the Lower House of the Russian Parliament Sergey Naryshkin said that the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe should decide whether the government of Ukraine was legitimate, ITAR-TASS reports.
He decided to form a working group to analyze the consequences Russian-Ukrainian relations may face. The group will consist of MPs, independent experts and members of the Public Chamber.
Naryshkin reminded that Ukraine and Russia were both members of the CIS. He believes that the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly can constantly monitor the quality of legislative acts.
