Ukrainian Acting Foreign Minister Andrey Deshchitsa and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu have discussed the situation in Ukraine and the Crimea in a telephone conversation today, Interfax reports.
The Ukrainian diplomat invited Davutoglu to visit Ukraine and continue the talks in Kiev on March 1.
Davutoglu previously expressed support for Ukrainian territorial integrity, peace, stability and prosperity. He emphasized that the Crimea was the gateway to Ukraine, a home for Tatars and cultural heritage.
