Ukraine's parliament exonerates Tymoshenko and Lutsenko

The Ukrainian Parliament approved a bill today aimed at implementation of the decision of the European Court of Human Rights, according to which former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former interior minister Yury Lutsenko should be exonerated.

Tymoshenko was convicted in October 2011 for abuse of power. The case was condemned by the international community as being politically motivated.
