Ukraine’s Prosecutor General asked Russia to extradite ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.
The statement published on the prosecutor’s website said that Ukraine “intends to raise the issue of extradition of Viktor Yanukovych, an internationally wanted citizen of Ukraine, in the event of official confirmation of his stay” in Russia, the news agency informs.
