UN Security Council to discuss the crisis in Ukraine

The UN Security Council will meet again tomorrow at an open meeting to discuss the situation in Ukraine, says the chairman of the Security Council, Permanent Representative of the Netherlands Sylvie Lucas.

"The President of the Security Council would like to inform the members of the board that today at 15.30 (0.30 MSK)  a meeting will be held under the
agenda item "Letter of 28 February 2014 from the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Security Council President (document numbers/2014/136)," states the message of Sylvie Lucas, distributed in the organization's headquarters, RIA Novosti reports.

The letter of the UN permanent representative of Ukraine Yuri Sergeyev from February 28 contained a request for the Security Council to take up the
situation in Crimea.

The last time the UN Security Council gathered on this question was on Saturday.
