The Pentagon has ended all military cooperation with Russia. US Rear Admiral Kirby, spokesman of the White House, has urged Russia to deescalate the conflict and return forces deployed in Crimea back to their bases.
The admiral said that the US strategy in Europe and Mediterranean Sea did not undergo any changes over the events in Ukraine.
US Trade Representative Michael Froman said that Washington was freezing trade and investment operations with Russia.
