Alexander Mironov has replaced Lieutenant-General Andrey Konin as the new Chief of the FSB Directorate in Dagestan, ITAR-TASS reports.
Dagestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov met Mironov yesterday and said that he had a post with very big responsibilities. Abdulatipov characterized the new FSB chief as a skilled professional.
Konin took part in the meeting. Abdulatipov thanked him for his work in the region. He emphasized that Konin worked in Dagestan in some of the most complicated years for the republic.
