President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived in Crimea to meet its legislators, his spokesman Andrey Kuzmin has said, ITAR-TASS reports.
Minnikhanov met Prime Minister of Crimea Sergey Aksenov. He will have a meeting with the Council of Ministers and leaders of Crimean Tatars.
The president of Tatarstan approved the idea to form the Foundation for Support of Crimeans. Tatarstan donated a one-day salary to help Crimea.
MPs of the Tatarstan State Council and Mufti Kamil Samigullin have already visited Crimea.
