US, German and Swiss military observers have been sent to Ukraine, the Ukrainian delegation to the OSCE stated yesterday, ITAR-TASS reports.
The observers will be sent without an OSCE mandate for the mission. According to the Vienna Document for Confidence and Security Building, each state may send a maximum of two military experts.
Germany has already sent two officers to Ukraine. They will visit Ukraine on March 5-12 to appease the public worried about military activities.
The observers will start their visit from Odessa to get permits to visit Crimea.
