There are four candidates for the post of mayor of the Dagestani capital, Makhachkala: members of three political parties and an independent candidate, Interfax reports.
The candidates' identification documents were handed to the current mayor, comprising the secretary of the local branch of the ‘United Russia’ party Said Amirov, candidate of ‘Just Russia’ Mader Kanberov, candidate of the KPRF (Communist Party) Sapiyulle Bamatov and independent candidate Ali Abdulbekov.
