A group of Ukrainian lawmakers from the Fatherland party has suggested a bill, according to which Ukraine should seek membership in the North Atlantic Alliance. The lawmakers stress that a non-aligned position can no longer secure the country's independence.
According to the bill, the country's Defense Law should be amended so that it specifies Ukraine's integration into the European and North-Atlantic bodies as a priority.
