US Secretary of State John Kerry said after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and foreign ministers of European countries in Paris that Russia, USA and Europe were both committed to finding a political solution to the crisis in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
He called talks with Lavrov very constructive. Kerry hopes that the ideas they came up with would help reduce tensions. He added that the talks will continue in Rome.
The US secretary of state noted that Washington was still eager to pass sanctions against Moscow, unless the sides overcome the crisis.
