Russia will not break contacts with US over Ukraine

Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama have discussed the Ukraine crisis in a telephone conversation. Putin noted that the Ukrainian authorities responsible for the coup were imposing illegitimate decisions on the East, South-East and Crimea, ITAR-TASS reports.The Russian president said that Moscow could not ignore the calls for help and had to act according to the international law.Putin and Obama agreed to keep Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Secretary of State John Kerry in intensive contact.
