Kiev vetoes Crimean referendum

Ukrainian Acting President Oleksandr Turchynov has passed a decree calling off the Crimean referendum initiated on March 6, 2014.Crimea decided yesterday to shift the referendum to March 16. The Crimean population will decide whether to merge with Russia or restore the 1992 Constitution of Crimea.
