US President Barack Obama has given a telephone call to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev today and urged him to intensify searches for a peaceful solution to the Russian-Ukrainian dispute, RIA Novosti reports.
The sides agreed on the importance of the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Obama has also talked with Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy. US Vice President Joe Biden has also talked with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades.
