John Boehner, Speaker of the US House of Representatives, said that the House will consider sanctions against Russia at 2.00PM on Tuesday, Interfax reports.
The House Committee on Foreign Affairs approved the resolution project with sanctions last week. Ed Royce chairing the Committee and Eliot Engel initiated the talks.
The document has no legal value and can only reflect the position of the House on Russian’s acts in Ukraine. The US sees actions of Russia in Ukraine as a threat to international security.
